Opportunity for certified nurse practitioners or physician assistants to join the ED fast track full-time at University Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. UMC is a 117-bed acute care facility that offers primary care services, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and interventional radiology, and the LSU interventional cardiology department has relocated to UMC. As a result, UMC has become a referral center for the other hospitals in their system. This busy ED has an annual patient volume of 38,500 and provides 36 hours of physician and 24 hours of mid-level coverage daily and a highly experienced administrative and nursing team.
