We are seeking highly a motivated individual as the Clinical Director for our Emergency Care Center (ECC).
The Clinical Director will collaborate with the Divisional Director and supported by team leaders and charge nurses, will provide the daily clinical leadership for the division. Possesses exceptional customer service skills and fosters positive physician relationships. Serves as a staff role model by providing leadership that encourages teambuilding, communication, positive attitudes and change. Supports the practice of nursing by modeling best nursing practice. Makes decisions based on current evidenced-based nursing practice and adheres to regulations set by regulatory agencies. Works interdependently to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Assures that operational efficiency is framed in performance improvement standards. Supports and encourages a shared governance environment within the division and hospital
Qualifications

Texas RN license
-
Current BCLS and ACLS; if not current must obtain within first 30 days of hire
-
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master’s preferred; Certification in specialty area desirable.

3 to 5 years clinical experience; prefer 1 to 3 years management experience in related areas of nursing

Must be able to utilize computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point

Must possess effective communication skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data
About the Emergency Care Center
The hospital Emergency and Trauma department treats more than 70,000 patients each year in our 52-bed Emergency Care Center (ECC). We are seeking a highly motivated nurse leader to join the outstanding team who staff our Level II Trauma Center and accredited Chest Pain Center.
Featuring four treatment areas (Urgent/Emergent Care, Chest Pain Center, Rapid Assessment Center and Clinical Decision Unit), our care team includes: Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses in the Rapid Assessment Center, Emergency Medical Technicians/Paramedics, Physicians, and ancillary licensed health care providers to include Respiratory Therapy, Case Management, Social Workers, Chaplains, Radiology Technicians, and others.
This Director oversees 93 FTEs and reports to the Divisional Director.
