Join a team of professionals and provide clinical expertise in Emergency Care as Clinical Nurse Specialist.
400 Bed Not for Profit Hospital, Non-Union, Very Stable Staff and leadership team
Special Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess a current Michigan RN license and have a MSN from a Board-approved program, which prepares the nurse to provide advanced clinical nursing services.
Specialty certification from a national certifying organization acceptable to the board at an advance practice level such as Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner also required.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a generalist or specialist RN.
Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and communication skills are a must
Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills and be able/willing to work in all areas of the dept.
Must have excellent clinical skills and the ability to research and have a strong knowledge of outcome based practice.
Must possess the ability to work in a collegial manner with all ED staff including the physicians.
License Requirement: Michigan (or willingness to obtain)
