Includes all cardiac cases except heart transplantation and VAD implantations; 125-150 cardiac and 125+ Thoracic

The candidate should have experience in both the OR, ICU and step-down as well as EVH experience

Intraoperative responsibilities include first assisting, endoscopic vein harvesting, and sternotomy closure.

Postoperative responsibilities include acute ICU and step-down care management.

Pre and post-surgical patient visits in clinic.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, and NCCPA certified with 2+ years of experience.
